TRON (TRX) is an open-source blockchain network founded in 2017 by Justin Sun. It is built for smart contracts, decentralized apps and fast, low-cost transfers of digital assets. The network runs on Delegated Proof-of-Stake, where TRX holders vote for 27 Super Representatives who produce blocks. TRX is the native token, used for staking, voting and paying for network resources.
Why is TRON popular?
TRX is best known for stablecoin transfers. A large share of the world’s USDT circulates on the network because transfers are quick, with blocks produced roughly every three seconds, and fees are low. Every USDT transfer needs a resource called Energy, which users get by staking or burning TRX, so the token is tied directly to everyday network use. The network is also compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, which makes it easy for developers to build on. TRON has been among the top ten crypto assets by market cap.

TRX price overview
At the press time, TRON was trading at $0.3303 with an intraday drop of 0.2%. Its market capitalization was $31.371B and the 24-hour trading volume was $387.755M. It has a circulating supply of about 95.006B TRX, and the total supply is nearly the same. TRX has no fixed maximum supply.
TRX price technical analysis over 1-D timeframe
TRON had a strong run from early May, moving up from the $0.32 zone and climbing above $0.3458 to reach a high near $0.3772 in the last week of May. That rally did not last. From late May to early June, TRX saw a sharp sell-off, and within a few sessions the price fell from $0.3772 to the $0.3150 area, wiping out almost the entire May move. The drop continued to a low near $0.3093 in mid-June.
The big red candles after the peak show sellers taking control once buyers ran out of momentum. The $0.3772 high has not been tested again since, so it remains the major resistance on the chart. Once the sell-off slowed, the price found its footing around the $0.3208 zone and has respected it ever since.
After that, TRX settled into a wide sideways range. It climbed through August and was rejected near the $0.3458 level, then slipped back to $0.3208 on 1 September, where buyers stepped in again. The next bounce reached $0.3458 in the third week of September but was rejected there as well, and the price has been drifting lower since. At the time of writing, TRON was trading near $0.3304, in the lower half of this range, with the mid-October dip near $0.3265 holding for now.

If buyers manage to push the price above $0.3458 on a daily close, the range may turn into a breakout. If the trading volume and OI support this momentum, the price can extend towards the $0.3772 mark.
On the other hand, if the TRX price faces rejection near $0.3458 again, traders might prefer to book profit. Once the profit booking increases and the price slips below the $0.3208 support, sellers may dominate ahead, and the price could drop towards the June low near $0.31.
Final thoughts
TRON is one of the most widely used blockchains for stablecoin transfers, and TRX is tied to demand for network resources, staking and governance. With TRON now on SunCrypto, users can buy it directly on the Spot market (or trade its price movements on Futures with Long or Short positions).
As with any crypto asset, TRX can be volatile. Before entering a position, consider support and resistance levels, trading volume and overall market sentiment, size your position carefully, and use risk-management tools such as Stop Loss, especially when trading Futures with leverage. Technical analysis can help identify possible scenarios, but it does not guarantee future price movements.
