While Arbitrum serves as a Layer 2 protocol, Xai operates as a Layer 3 platform, extending Arbitrum’s capabilities to include gaming-specific features such as gasless transactions, wallet-free asset trading, and higher smart contract limits for developers.

Xai functions as a third layer connected to Arbitrum’s Layer 2, which itself links to Ethereum’s Layer 1 blockchain. Arbitrum and similar Layer 2 solutions have significantly reduced costs and increased transaction speeds on Ethereum. Xai further enhances these benefits by providing exceptional scalability, minimal fees, and wallet-free interactions, along with features tailored specifically for gaming.

AnyTrust manages data availability with a permission set of parties, introducing a mild trust assumption to significantly reduce costs while ensuring robust data availability and security. This approach tackles issues such as high gas fees, unstable blockchains, and complex game design on the blockchain.

Sentry Nodes play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the Xai network. These observation nodes monitor the Xai rollup protocol, raising alarms if an incorrect block is proposed. Operating on laptops, desktops, or cloud instances, Sentry Nodes contribute to network security and earn rewards in esXai tokens through a probabilistic algorithm.

▪️ XAI Shattering Records: The Ethereum ecosystem recently experienced an unprecedented surge in transactions per second (TPS). According to L2beat data, on June 16, Ethereum’s scaling networks, which include both layer-2 (L2) and layer-3 (L3) solutions, achieved a combined TPS of 245.87. This equates to roughly 21.2 million transactions in just one day.

This significant increase was notably driven by Xai, a new Ethereum L3 solution. Since June 12, Xai has seen an extraordinary rise in TPS, growing from just one transaction per day to an impressive 101.72 TPS by June 16. Xai's recent performance has also set new records for the highest daily TPS among L2 and L3 solutions within the Ethereum network.
