History of PAWSWAP

PAWSWAP emerged partly due to discontent within the Shiba Inu community. Certain users expressed dissatisfaction with Shiba Inu's exchange methods and harbored concerns that the ecosystem was tilting toward centralization. Consequently, they embarked on creating an unofficial DEX (decentralized exchange) integrating all the features that Shiba Inu had declined to include in its own exchange.

Under the guidance of the pseudonymous developer PawKishi, several individuals collaborated to develop a distinctive exchange. They aimed to deliver a seamless trading experience that prioritized user needs. As per statements on X (formerly Twitter), their primary objective is simply to "construct what the PEOPLE desire."

Frequent conflicts have arisen between the PAWSWAP team and Shiba Inu's head developer, Shytoshi Kusama™. Kusama has disclaimed any affiliation with PAWSWAP, and certain influencers have hinted that the PAWSWAP team might comprise previously dismissed Shiba Inu employees. In recent months, PAWSWAP's website has removed numerous references to its association with the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
