GHST holders possess voting authority within the AavegotchiDAO, responsible for overseeing the protocol, flagship game Gotchiverse, and Aavegotchi NFTs. Aavegotchis are pixelated ghost NFTs adhering to the ERC-721 standard, featuring dynamic metadata influenced by user interactions. Their value and rarity hinge on collateral stakes, traits, and wearables. 

Collateral stake leverages ERC721 Aavegotchi Crypto NFTs as escrow for Aave-backed ERC20 collateral, generating yield through Aave's LendingPool. Traits involve random birth traits, kinship, and experience, while the term "Aavegotchi" nods to Aave's Finnish meaning of "ghost" and utilises the token ticker "GHST" to creatively spell "ghost" without vowels.

Who are the Founders of Aavegotchi Crypto?

Singapore-based Pixelcraft Studios is the creator of Aavegotchi Crypto. Jesse Johnson, the COO, previously held roles in various companies, including China Intop Exhibition Co and ZB Group. Coder Dan, the CEO, is also a co-founder. Aave's founder, Stani Kulechov, initially advised the project. Aave invested in Pixelcraft Studios in November 2020
